15 Days Wildlife Safari and Culture

This tour combines the adventure safari to bush men cultural to Serengeti and Ngorongoro adventure Safari Venture. Tanzania has a lot to offer families traveling with children. Day 1: Arrival

Arrive in Kilimanjaro airport and then you will meet your safari driver for greetings and then transfer to Arusha Impala hotel BB booked. After that you will have good time to relax at hotel for overnight and dinner at Indian restaurant,

Day 2: Arusha to Manyara national park – driving distance Distance: 130 km

After breakfast Meet our professional safari guide at Impala hotel who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which, we travel to the Lake Manyara National Park. We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch we head into the Lake Manyara National Park. This impressive park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

Day 3: Full day explore at Mto wa mbu and Lake Manyara national park

After breakfast we will explore the agricultural and fresh product market town of Mto Wa Mbu, which is situated next to the entrance of the Lake Manyara National Park. The town is a souvenir hunters’ paradise.

We will enter Lake Manyara National Park.This park is famous for the tree climbing lions, luckily seen resting on acacia trees. From your vehicle, you will have a marvellous view of the Rift Valley escarpment, sparkling in the sun. Lake Manyara is a salt lake with thousands of flamingos. You can also see pelicans, storks, kingfishers and many other birds. It is also a famous jungle, where early Tanzanian movies were filmed.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of Leakey’s family discovery of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. Meals and overnight at Serengeti seronera wildlife lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti National park

Full day in Serengeti plains in search of the big 5 Morning and afternoon game drives. Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. It  is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Join us to explore the different forms of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet some of their most fascinating inhabitants.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater: distance is 145 KM driving time is 2 ½h

After breakfast, you will have another morning game drive en-route after that drive slowly to  Ngorongoro conservation area with packed lunch, after having your lunch at nabi gate in Serengeti we will drive continue to ngorongoro highland will be able to visit masai boma where you can learn and discover the maasai lifestyle.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park 

Today we start very early at 07:00 am, with a packed picnic lunch box, for the game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, a population of approximately 25,000 large animals can be seen. This is reputedly the highest density of mammalian predators in Africa. The crater has the highest known population of mountain reedbuck, zebra, gazelle and wildebeest. It is also known for the big five rhino, lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo. Your driver/guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating hidden animals. The birdlife is prolific here and up to a 100 species can be seen in one day. In the middle of the crater there is a large lake inhabited by hundreds of flamingos and from a distance appears as a pink border around the lake. With late afternoon approaching, while the east African sunset colors take your breath away, we will be leaving the Ngorongoro Crater and to Tarangire national park for diner and overnight at Lake burunge luxury  tented camp.

Day 8: Full day game view tarangire National park

After breakfast you continue to explore the Tarangire National Park which is the third largest national park in Tanzania. This day you will spend full day of game drives in this fabulous national park highlighted with the gigantic baobab trees and abnormally large herds of elephants. At Tarangire you will have the chance to sight the rare Oryx, and other animals’ likes of zebras, giraffes, warthogs, leopards, cheetahs etc. The Tarangire River which is the life blood of this national park ensures a year round supply of water and the river beds takes center stage when animals gather to get this rare commodity resulting into magnificent wildlife actions when the predators try to grab a meal taking advantage of the moment. Later in the evening you will drive overnight Lake burunge luxury tented camp.

Day 9: Tarangire to Arusha

After breakfast we’ll drive to arusha for relaxing and overnight at impala hotel bed and breakfast included

Day 10: Arusha – Zanzibar

After breakfast Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Zanzibar on arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you to Echo Beach Hotel Meals and overnight at half board included.

Day 11: Zanzibar Beach holiday

Full days spent relaxing at the beach resort overnight at Echo Beach Hotel- Meals and overnight at half board included

Day 12: Departure

Breakfast at leisure then transfer to the airport to board your homebound flight.
